Kodak Folding Brownie 2A Autographic

This week I tested a Kodak Folding Brownie 2A Autographic camera which I found in Warracknabeal on a post lockdown road trip at the end of last year. This camera, which dates from 1917-1926, originally took 116 film but can be converted to use 120 film and create 6 x 12cm images.

Raymond Island

In January 2018 we spent a week in the Gippsland Lakes area. These photos are of the pier at Raymond Island near Paynesville.

Black and white photo of a tall slender tree with a branch low to the ground that has bent and formed an arch over the path. The bent branch is burnt on one side. A hillside of spindly young trees is in the background.

West McDonnell Ranges

The scenery in the West McDonnell Ranges is magnificient. We took a drive from Alice Springs to the Ochre Pits, Ellery Creek big Hole, Standley Chasm, and Simpsons Gap.

Black and white photo of two people resting under a covered area. One is lying on a table, the other is sitting on a bench seat with a sarong covering their head. The furniture is made of highly polished timber in it's natural form.

We missed the bus!

After our 11 kilometre walk, we missed the hop-on / hop-off bus by 10 minutes. With one hour and fifty minutes to wait we chilled out at the Mala carpark rest area, taking in the quite peacefulness.
